On the road of fear to Kabul

The road that links Karachi with Kabul crosses nearly all of Pakistan before winding its way through the treacherous mountains of Afghanistan. This essential link between the two cities is used to transport most of NATO’s logistical equipment. But every week the road is also the scene of attacks by the Taliban on coalition convoys.

Hackneyed report

I found the report quite predictable...having seen the same subject treated in the same way only a few hundred times...it was even quite amusing to see how a "Taliban" was picked out of a crowded bus..as if he could be told apart...pakistan was home to over two million Afghans refugees during the war with the Soviets..no-one was interested in searching for Afghans in Pakistan at that time..they were everywhere. But times change..

Why can't this zone be

Why can't this zone be extended to the whole Afganistan & Pakistan, Ivory Coast, Lybia, Middle East and everywhere world wide where children and innocent people are crying? Can't enjoy their basic rights?
