FRENCH PAPERS, Fri. 15/04/11. Libération attempts to clear up controversy surrounding France’s role in Laurent Gbagbo’s arrest. According to the newspaper, French troops never entered the former president’s residence, but they did pave the way militarily for pro-Ouattara troops. Meanwhile, Nicolas Sarkozy and his wife Carla Bruni could make an appearance at the Cannes Film Festival.
