FRENCH PAPERS, Thurs., 21/4/2011: Nine years ago today, the far-right National Front (FN) party reached the second round of the presidential election. Jean-Marie Le Pen faced off against Jacques Chirac, with the Socialist Party's Lionel Jospin eliminated after round one. Le Parisien has conducted a poll saying that in every possible scenario, the FN will again make it into the second round in 2012.
