New Serbia

This 2nd part of the show about Serbia somehow really captured the FEEL of this country. Especially the minutes on kafanas and nightclubs, the places you go to unwind, relax and take in the atmosphere. Then, the farmer,Vladeta, put it nicely when he said that we can grow almost ANY fruit or vegetable :)the soil is so rich in nutrients. Serbia, if its agricultural output was managed well, could feed at least half of EU. It is a shame people do not know much about Serbian plum or Serbian paprika. Srdjan, of Imlek, also said it right. The future is in MORE investments in AGRICULTURE.
Russia has been a close ally and friend of Serbia throughout history. People respect russian heritage, culture, close ties through orthodox christianity, language, WW2 engagement...The economy is NOT YET what it should be between Serbia and Russia.
Next, the people are hospitable, the fiery balkan, southern Europe sentiment or temperament in everyday life situations is something we're also proud of. The sense of humour, to laugh at yourself is so close to our sense of fleetingness of life...
There is not enough space here to elaborate more on the Serbia's image in Europe. Finally, respect to makers of this unique show about SERBIA.
