Europe Day: what’s in it for young people?

As EU citizens celebrate Europe Day on May 9th, Talking Europe gives the floor to a panel of young Europeans. We invite the four young leaders of Europe’s main political groups to discuss the future of the EU. While young people are generally more Europhile than their parents, they would like to see Brussels focus more on what matters to them: education and employment.

Guests:

Juha-Pekka NURVALA, Finland
Vice-President, Youths of the European People’s Party

Thomas MAES, Belgium
Secretary General, Young European Socialists

Slaven KLOBUCAR, Croatia
Secretary General, European Liberal Youth

Marcus DRAKE, Finland
Secretary General, Young European Greens

Presented by Christophe Robeet

Programme prepared by Anastasia Metral
