Chad president re-elected, provisional results show
Chad's incumbent President Idriss Deby (pictured) was re-elected to a fourth term with 89 percent of the vote provisional results showed Monday. Deby's main opponents boycotted the poll, which was held on April 25.

AFP - Chad's incumbent President Idriss Deby was re-elected to a fourth five-year term with 89 percent of the vote, provisional official results showed Monday.
The Independent National Electoral Commission said turnout was 64 percent for the April 25 polls, which were boycotted by Deby's main opponents.
