Supreme Court outlaws 'Caste Councils'
India's Supreme Court has banned so-called Caste Councils, traditional assemblies that take it upon themselves to decide whether or not inter-caste marriages can go ahead. The Councils had been accused of carrying out a number of honour killings against couples who have married for love.

this development is a new way forward..needs to be emphasize though...its time for india to come out of their barbaric and archaic traditions..this is 21st century for Hindu's sake!!! and such barbaric ways of life has no place in our civilized society
