Today we're in Poland, a country which has gained a lot of confidence since the fall of communism almost 20 years ago. As Poland takes over the rotating presidency of the European Union on July 1st, can it be a diplomatic and economic model for the rest of the EU?

The answer is a resounding NO, The Law in Poland needs severe change in relation to marriages abroad and the return of a polish citizen who has kidnapped the children and illegally taken them from their country of birth to now reside in Poland. Make what you want of this comment, however, I lost my two children in this manner in 1999 and the Presiding judge at Piotrkow trybunalski had the audacity to scream and shout at me when I made application through Solicitors to have proper access to my children , the matter has still not been resolved. I`m satisfied that I can watch this debate in France 24. You talked about very important issues- past, present and future. Now, we`re staying in front of doors, doors to better future. On 1st July we`re starting our presidency in EU, but 20 years ago we stayed behind the doors to better future. We didn`t think about development, I think. We wanted to be independent. My parents wanted to buy some milk for me, but the couldn`t. Now, they can travel abroad without passport. It`s very big change for us, so it`s so crucial for Poles who would like to forget about communism.
