In Wednesday's round-up of the world's press, the Germans have more harsh words for Greece, the Huffington Post is urging them to get back to the drachma, and Newsweek has been digging up skeletons in John Galliano's closet.

German tabloid Bild takes aim at the Greeks today, while the Huffington Post is encouraging them to get back to the drachma, while the Guardian says any pull out from the euro would be playing with fire.

The Independent says while European citizens take their austerity cure - MEPs are raking it in.

In other news, Newsweek has been digging up skeletons in John Galliano's closet - and the Guardian has the tale of the US man who robbed a bank - so he could get free healthcare in jail.
