Popular protests in Senegal, gun battles between inmates and guards in Venezuela, bus driver sacked after playing with mobile phone in Canada

STORY 1: SENEGAL

We begin today in Senegal where the president, Abdoulaye Wade, has had to back down in the face of popular protests. He wanted to change the country's election law, so he could be reelected next year with as little as 25 percent of the vote. No, said the protesters.

Our Observer was with them. We head to Dakar, the capital. With Guejopaal Gnane.

STORY 2: VENEZUELA

Now to Venezuela and its overcrowded prisons. Angry inmates recently took over one prison sparking gun battles with guards. The prisoners had apparently smuggled in assault rifles and even a machine gun. But they've also been using their cell phones to get their side of the story out.

We head to El Rodeo prison, outside Caracas. With our Observer Tomas Ramirez

STORY 3: CANADA

We finish with more cell phone video this time in Canada. Our Observer was on a long-distance bus, when he noticed that the driver was playing with his phone instead of watching the road. He pulled out his own cell phone to document it and the driver ended up losing his job. So what would you have done?
