He was released on parole following revelations that the woman accusing him of sexual assault repeatedly lied to investigators. Many papers wonder whether Strauss-Kahn will return to French politics and how this could affect the Socialist Party.

The legend of DSK.

This case is a willful misuse of the US legal system by a ruthlessly cynical and overly ambitious DA to make a political legend for himself, via a case that would have been long ago dismissed, if the alleged perpetrator was not of the stature of Dominique Strauss Kahn. The maid could have bruised her own vagina. Her shoulder could have been already injured. And semen could well have been available from a secondary source, which she could have applied to her uniform. The New York County District Attorney's Office 's web site has an option to report a hate crime. Perhaps that office should begin with the investigation of the hate crime that is Cyrus R. Vance. Europeans should be exceedingly wary about visiting the US, since US justice is now too akin to a kangaroo court. Thus, this year would be a good year to holiday in Greece. Some might argue that Greece is comparatively expensive to other places. But other places are not Greece. Aoo! Aoo! Aoo!
