A dramatic suicide in Notre Dame Cathedral put the spotlight back on gay marriage in France. Dominique Venner - a far-right essayist - posted a final message on his blog earlier today emphasising his opposition to gay marriage, "a despicable law". Also, some amateur video of the Oklahoma tornado, Russian suspicions of vote-rigging at the Eurovision and a 19-year-old student who staged his own kidnapping because of bad grades.
