Profile: Who is Anders Behrin Breivik?
A 32-year-old Norwegian, described by police as a Christian fundamentalist, has admitted to having orchestrated a deadly explosion in the downtown area of the capital Oslo before killing at least 77 people in a shooting on nearby Utoeya island.

Norwegian media has been flooded by images of a tall young man, with mid-length blonde hair and bright blue eyes since early Saturday. They are pictures of Anders Behrin Breivik, who has been identified by local media as the number one suspect in Friday’s deadly attacks in Norway’s capital Oslo and its neighbouring Utoeya island, which left a total of at least 77 dead.
Police arrested the 32-year-old “ethnic” Norwegian on Friday in connection with the two attacks. Although the police at first refused to confirm his identity, Breivik’s lawyer, Geir Lippestad, revealed on Sunday that his client had admitted responsibility for the “cruel” but “necessary” acts. Norway’s acting Police Chief Sveinung Sponheim later said that the suspect claimed to have acted alone.
‘Fundamentalist Christian’
In the wake of the tragedy, the Norwegian television station TV2 reported that Breivik had close ties to right-wing extremists and possessed several guns registered under his name. Meanwhile, Sponheim said the suspect “had certain anti-Muslim tendencies”, in an interview with the state-owned broadcasting company, NRK, before saying that “it is too early to say if this was a motive for the act”.
Another police official, Roger Andresen, described the suspect as “fundamentalist Christian”.

Police performed an overnight search of the suspect’s long-time former residence in western Oslo, as well as his new home near Rena, in the north of the capital.
Aside from public tax records, which show that Breivik earned no income in 2009 and close to nothing in the years before, very little was known at first about the alleged perpetrator of the worst violence to hit Norway since World War II.
Internet reveals traces of Breivik
The search for answers eventually led to the Internet, where Norwegian media were able to dig up comments Breivik had posted on the site www.document.no, expressing nationalist viewpoints and hostile attitudes toward a multicultural society.
Local media also quickly identified what they believe to be Breivik’s Twitter account, where he allegedly quoted British philosopher John Stuart Mill on July 17, writing in English, “One person with a belief is equal to a force of 100,000 who have only interests”.
Breivik’s Facebook page, which has since been made unavailable, revealed that the former business school student described himself as conservative, Christian and single. His interests included hunting and games such as “World of Warcraft” and “Modern Warfare 2”. He also presented himself as the head of Breivik Geofarm, an organic farm that could given him access to certain chemical products used to make explosives.
According to the spokesperson for a Norwegian agricultural supply company, Breivik did in fact order six tonnes of fertiliser in May, but called the purchase “a relatively standard order”.
Although Breivik’s personal Facebook page has been taken down in the wake of Friday’s deadly attacks, the social networking site now boasts several others using his name, some of which call for Breivik to be condemned to death.

Wow. I am amazed the degree to which people feel comfortable making statements with absolutely no evidence to back it up. One lunatic in a country of millions goes berserk and the "trend" is that "Right Wing Christians" are murdering, etc. Not all, mind you, but "many" of course -- wink, wink.
By the way, if you read anything about Breivik, you will quickly discover that he isn't even remotely Christian in any real way, and probably hasn't set foot in a church in decades.

A dark cloud of a larger storm.
This sad event represents a government that has failed to listen to the fears and concerns of indigenous Norwegians who fear for the future of their culture, people, and country. I have repeatedly warned of this happening in Europe. The continent is at a tipping point for imigration. There are valid concerns about how many people of other ethnic and religious background that do not wish to become a true citizen by embracing the host culture and way of life without adversly affecting the indigenous population. These concerns are ignored by the Marxist elite. This whole event represents a failure to listen. Now the Norwegian government is hiding the assailant from the media so his concerns will not be heard. This person felt he had to blow up a public building and massacre innocent children to be heard. How many people have to die for governments to start listening to ALL their people?

My plea to officials and neighbours in their village of Carcassonne is: help us support and help these people, as they are as innocent as the people who died and got injured. To his father: do not forget your country, we stand beside you, last friday you also lost a son.

My plea to local officials and neighbours in their village: help these people get through this difficult time, support and help them to the best of you abilities as they are also victims of actions beyond their control.

Dear Sir,
a close look at all what is being shown on all the TV screens about the shooting in Oslo clearly tells that the Norwegian authorities do their best to hide the real reasons of the tragedy and to relieve itself of any responsibility for it.
The Breivik case is not a criminal, but POLITICAL one.
The authorities do all to silence him because they are terribly afraid of the TRUTH he will tell to the whole nation and Europe.
Mr. Breivik did not fall from the sky, he is a pure product of the wrong political course taken by the Norwegian government.
There is no smoke without fire: the Breivik attack is a serious warning not only to Norway, but to the whole Europe from those forces of the Norwegian society which oppose to turning Norway into another Saudi Arabia.
Why not to give the Norwegian opposition a chance to speak openly about the the core of the matter - the Islamisation of their country, in particular, and Europe, in general ?
I would like this commentary to be published and open a free discussion to the case.

Most convenient of Breivik to "legitimize" his horrendous act by calling himself a fundamental Christian. Jesus Christ would never condone such "devotion."
