Nafissatou Diallo’s interview with ABC
"As God is my witness, I'm telling the truth," Nafissatou Diallo, the hotel maid who has accused former IMF chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn of attempted rape, tells Robin Roberts on ABC's Good Morning America. The full interview is scheduled to air Tuesday night on 'Nightline".
"I want justice to be done, I want [Dominique Strauss-Kahn] in prison."
After having been branded a prostitute by US tabloids amid accusations that she misled prosecutors, the New York hotel maid, originally from Guinea, has spoken to both Newsweek and ABC news in order to tell her side of the story.
``I never want to be in public, but I have no choice,'' she says in the ABC interview.
Strauss-Kahn's lawyers reacted immediately, saying Diallo was trying to "inflame public opinion".
