Ramadan and Libya
INTERNATIONAL PAPERS, Mon. 01/08/11. The US debt crisis still dominates a lot of the international press. Maureen Dowd likens the Tea Party to a group of rowdy freshmen wreaking havoc. It's the first day of Ramadan and according to the Guardian, it’s a good opportunity for NATO to seek a peaceful negotiated settlement in Libya. Finally, according to the Wall Street Journal, the camera phone could be the game changer in Syria.
