FRENCH PAPERS, Wed. 10/08/11. Just how similar are the UK riots to those that rocked France back in 2005? French papers are divided on the issue, but agree that the factors which sparked the unrest are the same. Across the political spectrum there is criticism of the "senseless violence", and many people explore what lessons can be learned for France.
