Paris: a literary paradise

We embark upon a tour of Paris's literary hotspots, starting at the iconic Café de Flore. Next, we head to famous bookshop Shakespeare & Company to meet the owners who turned it into an exciting literary meeting place. And American author Dinaw Mengestu explains why Parisian life is such a source of inspiration.

Our last stop is Victor Hugo's house for a guided tour by our literature critic Augustin Trapenard, who also discloses his very Parisian summer read of choice.
