A New Europe?

FRENCH PAPERS, Wed. 17/08/11, Yesterday’s meeting between German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Nicolas Sarkozy received mixed reactions in the French press. Le Figaro hails what it calls a “new Europe” while La Tribune says it was more talk than action. Meanwhile, according to L’Express, the doctor reports reveal that the chambermaid accusing Dominique Strauss Kahn of sexual assault was indeed raped.
