The Cordouan lighthouse, and the Mini Transat race
Built in 1611, the Cordouan lighthouse dominates the Gironde estuary in south-western France and is often known as the "Versailles of the Sea". We check it out in all its splendour. Also, we catch up with Basque skipper Sébastien Rogues (pictured) who is hoping for a decisive victory this time around in the mini trans-Atlantic race from France to Brazil.
