We also tell you why religious parties are seeking to challenge Kosovo’s secular constitution. Finally, Nerimane Kamberi, a Kosovan author, takes us through the streets of the capital Pristina.

We also meet Europe's first veiled mayor: she runs the city of Visoko. We talk to Sevdah singer Amira who tells us how Bosnia's traditional music has gained an audience abroad and we follow Jasna Samic, a Franco-Bosnian writer who shows us her favourite places in Sarajevo.

Twenty years after the start of a bitter conflict, Bosnia remains divided along ethnic lines. We travel to Banja Luka, the capital of the Serb entity, where Bosnia's Serbs are increasingly critical of the way the local economy has been run for the past decade. We also follow a community doctor who tells us more about the poor state of the country's health care system and we take to the slopes of Jahorina, one of Bosnia's favourite ski resorts.
