FRENCH PAPERS, Mon. 10/10/11. Round one of the Socialist Party Primaries is all over the French press today. Left-leaning Libération applauds the new system, saying it gives more power to the people. Right-leaning daily Le Figaro wonders whether it was a good move for the Socialist Party to hold the primaries. It predicts a caustic week in the lead-up to round two.
