Yemen is descending into violence. For months, anti-regime protesters have been demanding that President Saleh, whom they accuse of corruption and nepotism, stand down. Every day, the capital Sanaa is now the scene of fighting between troops loyal to the president, rebel military troops and tribal fighters who have joined the protest movement.
