Jean Ziegler, UN Special Rapporteur on the Right to Food (2000-2008)
The world’s population is set to reach seven billion and will keep growing fast. How can we feed seven billion people and prevent a world food crisis? He points to several causes, such as rising food prices due to speculation as well as agricultural subsidies in Western countries.
