We're hitting the road this week with two literary homages to the American spirit of adventure. "Riding toward everywhere" by William T. Vollmann is a journey of discovery and American culture, an exploration of a nomad lifestyle. Plus, Christophe Cousin and Matthieu Paley followed in Jack Kerouac's footsteps on a road trip across America. The result is the stunning French coffee table book, "Dans les roues de Jack Kerouac".
