Several African leaders have indeed accused the ICC of being racist because, so far, all people indicted by the Court are from Africa. But ICC chief prosecutor Fatou Bensouda disagrees, stressing that the Court often launches investigations at the request of African countries themselves.

He also addresses accusations that the International Criminal Court unfairly targets Africans, and says he hopes that more cases will be tried by national authorities rather than by the ICC.
