The New York Times reports on how it went down in Syria.

Egyptian paper al-Masry al-Youm says the Muslim Brotherhood is colluding with the army - to shut out the secular revolutionaries - while al-Ahram says their victory might not be as bad for feminists as we fear.

And the Guardian thinks Sarkozy and Merkel are on their way to creating a two-speed Europe - bad news for those countries left outside it.
