'Memory loss begins at 45'
Does leaner mean weaker? That's the question after US President Barack Obama announces a shift in military objectives and Pentagon budget cuts. We also look at the stand-off with Iran, changes in Burma and er...memory loss...er, I can't remember...oh yes, it begins at 45. That's the focus for this press review for Friday 6th January, 2012.
The Christian Science Monitor asks: does leaner mean weaker?
Britain’s Daily Telegraph headlines: “Can Iran close down the oil lanes?”
The Gulf News has a comment piece: “War with Iran not serious option for US or Israel”.
The Financial Times has a piece entitled “Hurry, hurry to the new Wild West of Yangon”.
And The Daily Mail looks at ‘How we start losing our memory at 45’.
