Arab League under fire for failing to protect Syrians
The UN says more than 400 people have been killed since the start of the Arab League mission to Syria in December. The monitors are tasked with verifying the implementation of a peace intitiative which would see the release of political prisoners, the retreat of tanks, and the start of dialogue with the opposition. But the mission's facing increasing criticism.
