Islamists set to dominate Egyptian parliament
Egypt's first parliamentary elections since the fall of Hosni Mubarak are coming to a close. On January 23rd, two days after the anniversary of the revolution, the newly elected People's Assembly will hold its first session. With Islamists of various stripes holding a majority of seats, negotiations have already begun between parties to determine the shape of the new Parliament.
