The witch hunt against Garzon

Some rather controversial articles about Syria have popped up in today's papers - we look at one calling for foreign intervention in Syria, and another one claiming it's already started. We also look at the Spanish press reaction to Baltasar Garzon's trial - calling it a with hunt and a political manipulation.

The Atlantic has a piece calling for military intervention in Syria today - while the Guardian's Jonathan Steele thinks it has already begun, and that the West is arming Syrian dissidents in Turkey.

El Pais publishes a sterling defence of judge Baltasar Garzon - from a former right-wing politician who says his own party asked him to invent false testimony against the campaigning lawyer.

We also look at a report in Pakistani newspaper Dawn, saying a military coup there is on the way - and it would be popular.

And staying in Pakistan, its top chefs take on old rivals India in a new reality show - to find out who really cooks the best curry.
