FRENCH PAPERS, Fri. 03/02/11. French papers focus on the ongoing violence in Egypt. Libération explores how public opinion regarding the army has changed drastically in one year. Many Egyptians believe the army may have orchestrated the violence to keep a grip on power. In other news, it’s cold in France! According to right-leaning paper Le Figaro, France is better off than neighboring Germany in terms of electricity, thanks to its nuclear power plants.
