Fatah and Hamas - have they kissed and made up?

Syria is still in the spotlight - we look at what Sergei Lavrov might be saying to Bashar al-Assad later, and Asma al-Assad's first appearance in the international press for 11 months. There's also reaction to the agreement on a unity government between Fatah and Hamas.

Lebanese paper L'Orient le Jour analyses why Russia is prepared to be '"complicit in murder", accusing Putin of Cold War nostalgia and saying he's trying to reinstate Russia's position on the international stage.

The Times puts Asma al-Assad on the front page - she tells them she still supports her husband.

The National welcomes the agreement between Fatah and Hamas - while the New York Times lists all the problems it could cause for Israel, and Mahmoud Abbas.

The Guardian, on a different note, is looking at African leaders being pursued for corruption in former colonial power France.
