A creative way to thank their loyal Asian shoppers. Students from the French fashion school Esmod were invited to showcase their modern interpretations of traditional Chinese clothing. Each garment was strikingly unique, reflecting the diverse origins of the students. Zeinab Sedaghat is Iranian. She teaches fine arts in Tehran. Her inspiration ? The Silk Road.
Dragons are legendary creatures in Chinese mythology. A symbol of power, strength, and determination. Israeli student Ron Hale was inspired by something less aggressive yet equally important in Chinese folklore. The lotus flower. The lotus flower, a symbol of purity and beauty.
