Regine sells her dresses

The singer recently decided to auction a portion of her collection of evening dresses and event wear.

She goes by Regine, but is known as the “Queen of the night”. The Belgian-born 82 year old turned heads when she opened the first private Parisian nightclub in 1958.
The 300 piece collection sold for 41thousand euros. Regine gave the proceeds to the non profit organization Group SOS.
A main stay of the Parisian social scene for decades, fashion designers would jump at the chance to dress the singer.
Regine knew a time before the phrase ‘In Crowd’ existed. A time before, hard drugs and alcohol hit the scene.
After singing Gainsbourg, Regine now turns to a different style of music.
Regine’s next collaboration will be with the outlandish French band Les Producteurs de Porcs.
