The Fake Debate

FRENCH PAPERS, Fri. 24/02/12. The leaders of the far-right and the far-left debated with each other on French television last night. But a lot of the French press says the stand-off between Marine Le Pen and Jean-Luc Mélenchon was a "fake debate", more an exchange of insults than an exchange of ideas. Also, the dailies look back at the year in cinema: it’s been a good year for French films.
