Opinion survey conducted by CSA polling agency, for BFM television, 20 Minutes daily, and RMC radio.

This survey was conducted and published shortly after President Nicolas Sarkozy officially declared his candidacy on February 15. It showed Sarkozy (27%) advance by one percentage point from CSA’s previous poll on February 7. Meanwhile, it showed that Socialist Party candidate François Hollande (28%) was still the front-runner in terms of first round voter intentions, but his support had fallen by two percentage points between the previous CSA poll.
