'Suu Kyi is right to take a risk'

In today's papers - has Aung San Suu Kyi taken too much of a risk in getting involved in an election that's far from free and fair, and is there any hope of a diplomatic solution for Syria?

The Guardian says there are still big question marks over whether Aung San Suu Kyi's decision to participate in the Burmese election isn't just legitimising the junta - but The Independent says if she's assessed the risk and decided it's worth it, we have to support the process.

The Independent also reports almost no-one still has faith that a diplomatic solution to the Syrian crisis can be found - but what should regional powers do? Al-Ahram says Turkey finds itself stuck in the middle.
