Sudanese border conflict intensifies
Sudan and South Sudan appear to be nearing all-out war. Juba says its northern neighbour carried out air strikes in Unity State, killing its soldiers and damaging an oil field. Khartoum denies the accusation. The air raids came days after Southern forces pulled out of the disputed town of Heglig. Speaking during his trip to China, South Sudan's President said Sudan had "declared war" on his country. Now, it seems the international community's looking to China to ease the escalating situation.
