Is Obama milking Bin Laden's death too much?

A year on from the death of Osama Bin Laden - has Obama gone too far in trying to gain political benefit from it? And does al Qaeda still pose a threat to the West?

The New York Times says Obama's surprise visit to Afghanistan is really an attempt to maximise the political opportunity of the anniversary of Bin Laden's death - but Foreign Policy says he's being widely accused of milking it.

The Atlantic takes a look at the state of al Qaeda a year on from his death - while The Independent asks if they're playing a role in Syria.

Of course we're also looking at that critical parlimentary report on Rupert Murdoch - The Guardian says he's bound to decide soon that British newspapers are more trouble than they're worth.
