Peruvian law clamps down on 'femicide'

Argentina is passing a law protecting women from violence inflicted by men. The law is based on legislation already in place in Peru, where "femicide" - or the killing of women by men - became a crime last year. In Peru half of all women are abused by their boyfriend, lover or husband.
