The Turkish Prime Minister has labelled social media a "menace", saying the "best example of lies can be found there". Last weekend at the height of the unrest, there were 3,000 tweets a second recorded on the issue. Elsewhere, we look at Nicolas Sarkozy and what the French press is calling his "parallel diplomacy". There is also criticism of the former French president for accepting payment from Goldman Sachs for speaking at a conference in London.
