While the outside world focuses on the jailing of emblematic opposition leader Yulia Tymoshenko, the co-hosts of Euro 2012 have other axes to grind, like the vasts sums that have disappeared while preparing for the tournament. Strauss-Kahn: will he take on Sarkozy?

Dominique Strauss-Kahn stole the show at the G20 in Paris. He stopped short of declaring his intentions to run in the 2012 presidential elections but dropped some major hints. If the polls are to be believed DSK could be a major problem for Nicolas Sarkozy. First though, he’ll have to win over a divided French Left.
