From Communism to football hosts: Poland on the world stage

Friday June 8th is Poland's big moment on the international stage. The Euro 2012 football tournament it is co-hosting with Ukraine kicks off in Warsaw. Despite the worries and setbacks that have dogged the preparations, it's a chance for Poland to show how far it has come since the fall of communism. France 24 went back to the place where it all began: Gdansk, and the Lenin shipyards where Lech Walesa led the first Solidarity strikes in 1980.
