US superPACs drive negative presidential campaigning

The US presidential election is only five months away, pitting the incumbent Barack Obama against Republican Mitt Romney. It's the first presidential election to involve superPACs, independent support networks allowed to collect unlimited amounts of money to support one candidate - or, more often than not, attack their rival.
