Syrian Kurds seek refuge with their Iraqi 'brothers'
They are Syrian, but claim a Kurdish identity. Over 7,000 Syrian Kurds have fled their home country, joining up with their "brothers" in Iraqi Kurdistan. Some have travelled the length and breadth of Syria, passing through the dangerous region of Mosul in Iraq. Syrian society is becoming divided, and the priority is the safety of each man's own ethnic group.
