‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ swings into cinemas with an all-new cast

It’s déjà-vu time for superhero movie fans: Spider-Man is back, five years after his last big screen adventures. With an all-new cast, director and plot, the studio is branding it a "re-boot" of the Marvel classic. French-language lesbian romance wows critics

They invented cinema 120 years ago, so it's little wonder the French are ruling the roost at the Cannes Film Festival. We check out Franco-Tunisian director Abdellatif Kechiche's lesbian love story, "Blue is the Warmest Colour", which has blown away the critics, and also look at the other French films in competition.
