India: the school where women become solar engineers

Nestled in a desert village of Rajasthan lies a school like no other. Its students are grandmothers from the poorest corners of the globe, many of them away from home for the first time. They've come to India to earn a diploma as a solar engineer. In six months these women will graduate and return to their communities in Asia, Africa and the Pacific Islands. They'll take home solar lanterns and their newfound expertise.
