Growing tensions in Sidi Bouzid threaten to derail country

Tunisia's General Workers' Union called for a general strike on Tuesday in the region around Sidi Bouzid, the town where the nation's revolution first began at the end of 2010 and where demonstrations have recently been flaring. Residents there want protesters freed who have been that demanding authorities do more to develop this poor region of the country.
