Stray Syrian shells endanger Jordanian lives

For the second time in less than two weeks, live Syrian ammunition has crossed the border into Jordan. Ten days ago it was gunfire, this time two mortar shells exploded on Jordanian soil. Residents were evacuated from their homes in Turra after the blasts although many have already returned. The small farming village is less than a kilometre from the border. Rsidents there are hoping the Syrian conflict comes to an quick conclusion.
