INTERNATIONAL PRESS REVIEW, Mon. 20/08/12: Julian Assange is getting a lot of attention in the international papers today. Yesterday he addressed the media and his supporters for the first time in two months. The Independent and the Guardian are quite critical of him for failing to mention the sexual assault claims he’s wanted for in Sweden. Meanwhile, South Africa is also getting a lot press after police shot dead more than 30 miners last week.
